Checking Signal Strength

Log into your MR40 portal.  (The IP address is found on the bottom, but is usually 192.168.1.1)

Once logged in on the left side of the screen, you will see a dropdown menu. Select Modem.

Next, select Network Status.

This will pull up Signal/Cell Information.

If you scroll down to the 3rd row, you will see RSRP and RSRQ.

Signal Strength (RSRP) is best at -70 to -90. Mid-range from -90 to -110. Poor quality -111 to -120. Anything lower is unusable.

Signal Quality (RSRQ) is best at 0 to -8, mid-range from -8 to -11, poor quality if -12 or above.
